5/1/2012: today is our official day on the road. We are headed south we will probably end up in Texas tonight. We spent the night with some good friends, good home cooked food and good conversation (thanks Eddie and Karen)! We said goodbye to my parents; its a big deal for me to be able to leave, I have been taking care of my parents since I was 21. So I leave it in the hands of a higher force and try not to worry about what's not in my control. We went to the bank (gave in to the robots, no more ledgers- all online). Speaking about robots we also caved in and bought an iPhone. We want to thank our friends for throwing us a great going away party! Thank you Eric and Brenda for hosting it at your shop (pedal pushers cyclery). We will miss u all and look forward to sharing our adventures with you!
