The Adventures of Trail Gypsies: Adventure 2012: 2nd part of Part 1

Memorial day weekend: Drove to Snowshoe West Virginia and downhilled for 2 days. The first day was a big shocker, and we didn't really enjoy ourselves, everything was super wet, muddy and rooty. East Coast rideres definitely know how to shred the gnar! We stayed at a nice campground and it did't get too crazy over memorial day weekend.

5/28 we drove to Cincinatti to stay with Ples' brother. We bbq'd, hung out and got up early to drive to Indiana. We drove to Winchester Indiana to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and sister and niece and nephew. We BBQ'd some more, drank bud light and camped in their back yard. We took my neice swimming the next day and then we headed to Franklin, IN to visit my second family that adopted me during college. We had a great dinner and caught up on old times. It is so nice to be with good old friends again, and it feels like no time has passed.

Then next morning I took Ples to visit my school, Franklin College. We walked around checked out the new stuff and had to show Ples my sorority sweet (yes I was in a sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha), it was a small school it was just what you did, and I did enjoy it!

We left to Indianapolis to visit with my good friend Julie from school and the next day we spent the weekend with my other good friend Amy and Josh and her family.
We went shooting, plotting against the zombies (we were on a zombie kick after Josh did some research on bath salts and people eating people's faces off), 4wheeling and had a great BBQ with the family. We got up early and left for Denver. We spent the night in MO at a campground and arrived in Denver late on Monday 6/4. While in Denver we went to storage and dropped off stuff and got some more stuff for part 2 of our adventure. We did laundry, went grocery shopping and cleaned up. We went on a shop ride and hung out with some friends.
